Sam and I met through a mutual friend when I was going into my senior year of high school and he was going into his first year of college. He thought I was cute and had one of his friends text me for him. The rest is history!
It was June 10 of last year. Sam asked if I wanted to have a date night and that where we were going was a surprise. We got dressed up and went to Mr. Sushi in Dublin because we both love sushi!! During dinner we talked about our future wedding, which we did frequently, so nothing seemed out of the ordinary. He asked if I wanted to get Jeni’s after we left. As we were standing up, he seemed really nervous and kept taking deep breaths. We started walking to Jeni’s when all of a sudden he turned me around to go the other way (because I would have seen his parents who were there to take pictures). As we were walking he had one hand in his pocket which I thought was odd, and he had his other arm around me. We got to the fountains in Old Dublin and all I remember him saying is “I have a question for you that has been a long time coming.”
Everything about this suite is simple but just enough. Brittany kept everything classic with the simple calligraphy by pairing it with a serif font. Brittany chose to accent the invitations with burgundy envelopes that she had hand calligraphed by one of her friends. I love the way these turned out!
