Blush and Green Wedding Invitations with Rustic Charm

feminine rustic wedding invitation

Hi, friends! I hope your Thursday is going well! We have another invitation reveal for you today. I know we’ve been slackin’ on these. I am trying to get back into the groove and publish a few invitation reveals a month. Bear with me 🙂 This one includes a feminine design with a little bit of rustic charm!

The Couple

Tina and Lane met camping one weekend back in 2014. They are an outdoorsy couple, which you will see reflected in their invitations. They enjoy camping and fishing together. There is a river that runs between where they live. Tina lives in South Dakota and Lane lives in Nebraska. So, for the proposal, Lane told Tina that he wanted to take the river out of their relationship. Meaning, he wanted them to be together. Then he got down on one knee and proposed to her!

The Mood Board

Tina wanted their invitations to have a rustic vibe to it, but still wanted it girly and pretty. The starting point of the invitation design was this past suite we did. Obviously, it didn’t fit into her color scheme at all, but she loved that it was both rustic and feminine with the flowers.

We kept her mood board simple. We aligned it with her color palette and included the barn for the rustic charm.

The Rustic Charm Invitation

I really love how these invitations turned out. We kept it simple, pretty and added a little bit of rustic charm. The rustic elements of the white wood background and antlers show who Tina and Lane are as people, and as a couple. The floral elements really keep everything soft and elegant.

Rsvp postcard example

To cut back on costs, we ended up going to with an RSVP postcard on Tina & Lane’s suite. This is an easy way to save a couple hundred bucks in some cases. It eliminates the costs of envelopes, and addressing. Not only that, but the return address is printed on the back side, so you don’t even have to address them yourself once you receive them. More and more of our couples are opting for the RSVP postcard.
