I am excited to show you the newest suite included in our Invitation Reveal section of the blog! The bride, Rachel, went to high school with me and was really good friends with one of my best friends! It was an honor to be asked to create her wedding romantic invitation suite.
In college at Ohio Northern University. We were in the same class and started hanging out in the same friend groups throughout the years.
Brian’s family is from DC and has friends that work for the White House. Moreover, We went on a White House tour when we were in town visiting his parents, and he had it set up so that his family friends allowed us to sneak away from the tour path so that he could propose. My family also surprised us there.
We enjoy being outside; walking and hiking. Additionally, we like to try new restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries!
Dancing and celebrating with family and friends
Rachel and Brian were going for a slate blue/dusty blue and steel color palette with gold accents. We put together this mood board to begin the design process. That table setting in the top left corner tho!?!? Omg.
Rachel sent me one of our previous designs that she liked, and we used it as a starting point. We switched everything to fit the dusty blue color palette she was going for. She went with our marina colored envelopes with white ink addressing. I don’t think I will ever get over how much the white ink pops against the darker colored envelopes. I. love. it.
We went with a traditional RSVP that included the dinner options. There was a line added about their adult only reception on the details card to make it clear to their guests that they should get a babysitter for their kiddos 🙂
