Happy Sunday! Long time, no invitation reveal – but I am excited to share these dusty rose cuties with you today!
Gabriella was going for a very muted dusty rose + mauve color palette. Her and Thomas’ wedding has a sophisticated vibe to it with lots of texture. We gave her a few different ideas on how to implement different textures on her mood board above.
First of all, let me just say – these pictures do not do the suite justice. The lighting was harsh when I took these, but I couldn’t wait any longer to share them with you! Gabby and Thomas’ suite subtle, but very pretty. With touches of dusty rose, and delicate floral invitations, we were able to capture the feeling of her wedding well.
When we began discussing the wedding invitations, Gabby wanted to have a deckled edge paper, but instead opted for the texture to be brought out with the vellum wraps. Every part of her suite was digitally printed, but we were able to pantone match the envelopes and pink toned text perfectly.
Another budget friendly option Gabby chose was to go with RSVP postcards rather than order RSVP envelopes with addressing on top of everything else. I always suggest this to our clients who want to save a little because it is one of the easiest changes to make + I personally don’t feel it compromises the design at all!
Gabby bought her own wax stamp to close up the vellum, but we have used our own Unica Forma wax stamp for the pictures, just to give you an idea of what the wrap looks like around the invitation suite!
