Yocasta and her soon to be husband, Luciano, came to us through the work she saw on Pinterest! These two are both originally from the Dominican Republic so they wanted to incorporate their roots into their summer wedding! She sent us a beautiful painting of the Dominican countryside, that they were inspired to create the entire invitation around. We absolutely love when our clients send us their inspiration so we can get a clear vision of what they want and what style they are going for!
As I mentioned, the couple sent us photos to reference what look they wanted. On top of the painting, Yocasta sent us a few different tropical invitations that she wanted us to pull design aspects from. She loved the flowers on the photo on the left. However she wanted to tone down how dense they were across the top of the invitation. The invitation was more of the colorful aspect she is looking for in her design. Because it’s a summer wedding she wanted the whole of the invitation to be pink/salmon color.
All writing on the invitation was done in specialty thermography printing. If you aren’t familiar with thermography, its a raised type of printing that you can feel if you ran your hands across the paper. She also incorporated a laser cut pocket fold in her invitation suite that pulls the entire look together! In the end, the couple was so happy with their final product and we couldn’t be more happy we could bring their vision to life!
