Getting to do custom invitation suites for couples is my favorite thing! When a bride approaches me with her own ideas, and doesn’t want a design of ours that already exists everything gets a lot more fun. Samantha wanted their invitations to be timeless, elegant and classy. We played around with the top wreath – from a crest, to a more formal monogram. We ultimately ended up going with the laurel design to add a feminine touch.
Samantha and Andrew had a lot of information they needed to get to their guests. To avoid cluttering the invitation itself, we opted for a bunch of different inserts. But not TOO many! The custom maps are always one of my personal favorites. You chose your venue and locations for a reason; why not show it off?
This invitation suite is our Deluxe Package which includes: The invitation, RSVPs, three insert cards, a custom map, addressed and lined envelopes, a belly band AND a wax sealing stamp. So this package is perfect for the traditional couple because it includes everything and your guests won’t need to use the internet to figure anything out. For example, It gives them their local accommodation options, a map of the area, and all of the information about the ceremony and reception they will need. Additionally, it allows guests to RSVP via mail and you can add in the rehearsal dinner information/RSVP to the guests that you are inviting to that portion of your wedding without using another envelope and stamp!
I love how Samantha and Andrew kept their invitation suite elegant and classy with the belly band. Belly bands can get crazy. Especially when you add in laser cutting, patterns, glitter, etc. Don’t get me wrong, those options can be amazing for the right suite. Almost all of our couples get belly bands to hold everything together. So we’ve done TONS of different styles. But Sammie kept everything so classic and going with the black belly band with their names just fit.
