If you’re planning a wedding you may be thinking “Do I really need a photographer and Videographer?”. Especially for the couples on a budget, this may seem like an unnecessary expense. But we have a few reasons why having a wedding video could be worth it for you!

You can’t everywhere

You’re wedding day is going to feel like a flash and as much as time travel would be great, you can’t be everywhere all at once. There will be some obvious moments you will miss out on like watching everyone walk down the aisle and your guests reactions as you read your vows. And then there will be smaller, spontaneous moments you just won’t notice. You are one half of the main attraction and your attention will be pulled in every direction. So let the videographer will catch all the sweet moments you couldn’t see for you to watch back later!

Visual AND Audio

Usually the first thing people think of when they think about a wedding video is the visual aspect. And of course a photographer should be able to capture what you, your guests, and the venue look like. However one thing photographers don’t have on their side is the audio. Videographers are able to capture the shake in your voice as you say your vows, or your grandfathers toast at the reception. A video can grasp the entirety of that day with both visual and audio effects.

Emotion

As I stated above, videographers can capture a more complete picture of your wedding day. Another thing that is easier for videographers to embody is emotion. A good photographer will be able to capture emotion as well, but a great video has the ability to put you right back where your were on that day. Most videos are accompanied with music that can naturally evoke a response. This is why wedding videos are so popular online! You can see, hear and feel the emotion shared on that day, even if you know the newlyweds!

Watch it to re-live it

Your wedding day should be one of the happiest times of your life! So being able to re-live that experience should be enticing. Some couples like to watch it every year on their anniversary to remind each other of the love and support they were surrounded by. Other share it with family and friends. Your wedding video can serve as a time capsule for you to share with generations to come!
