Sam and Marissa originally met at a Sweet Sixteen birthday party, when they were Sophomores in high school. A couple years passed by and they reconnected at the end of their Senior year. Sam brought Marissa flowers to her dance recital and the rest is history. Sam moved up to Chico to pursue his fire career, while Marissa stayed in the Bay Area to finish college. Once Marissa graduated she decided to make the move up to Chico where Sam had been hired on full time as a City of Chico firefighter. Marissa and Sam have enjoyed making Chico their home over the past 3 years! They love to hike, bike ride, cook and spend time with their two furry friends, Darla and Levi.
These dusty rose and gold vein wedding invitations are one of my favorite. We opted for flat printing because it is more budget friendly, even though we had the gold vein running through the suite. I have to admit, it still looks awesome. Any time you have something like the gold vein you may want to consider foiling; however, with these, the gold vein was more of a glitter line. All of the glitter detail would have been lost if Marissa and Sam would’ve opted for foiling. So, not only did they save some $$ but it looks awesome!
