Happy last day of April! Can you believe we are already going into the FIFTH month of the year!? Time is flying over on our end! Anywho, I wanted to share a new invitation suite with you guys and kind of break down the components with you.
Jessica and Troy are having a summer wedding in Alabama. They are going for a romantic garden look, using primarily a blush and champagne color palette. We kept the garden/floral theme throughout the suite with the invitation wraps, their monogram and the envelope liners.
The vellum wraps and envelope liners are actually from paper I found a few months back at a local paper store and knew I had to have it even though I didn’t have a project at the time that I needed it for. (Honestly, if I couldn’t find a way to use it with Unica, I knew I would use it for gifts!) I love using big sheets for envelope liners because each cut is different, so you will get a different angle/part of the design with each envelope liner and wrap.
They also were a very textured paper and have the gold foiled veins that look amazing, but subtle enough that it wasn’t too flashy.
Overall, these came out delicate and elegant. We kept the design on the cards very minimal, and allowed the pop of color to come out in the wraps and envelope liners. The Save the Dates kept the floral theme going with the dainty illustration on the right hand side of the card.
We were able to keep these very cost effective by opting for flat printing on our standard 130# matte stock. If you are looking to put together custom wedding invitations, feel free to reach out. I love getting to tell your story to your guests and our readers!
