Each of us put our perfect partner criteria in the internet and out popped our love story. So, we pretty much ordered each other! #FieldsInn19″
These next Save the Dates are so impressive that nearly all of their guests reached out to the couple telling them how amazed they were when they received them. Kim and Bracken are having a burgundy, navy, blush and gold wedding. Even though I have worked with this palette quite a bit, these save the dates are different than our usual designs with those colors.
Kim originally liked one of our floral designs, but wanted to include foiled elements, but once we sent her the first proof, Bracken stepped up and stood his ground! He didn’t want the invitations to be so feminine, so we had to go back to the drawing board.
We went with a deep burgundy watercolor with navy and blush layers creeping out from underneath. The gold was incorporated with the foil. We foiled their names, “Save the Date”, “Formal Invitation to Follow” as well as an illustrated flower detail and paint splatters around their names, on top of the watercolor portion of the invitation.
The subtle flower outline still keeps the feminine elements Kim originally wanted without over doing it. We also added gold glitter backers behind the invitations to give them even more of “wow” element for their guests.
The couple paired the Save the Dates with our dusty rose envelopes and burgundy addressing. The addressing matched the fonts from the invitations, keeping everything cohesive.
If someone’s Save the Dates are this nice, you can only try to imagine how nice their actual wedding invitations will be! Stay tuned because I can’t wait to share what we come up with you all!
