Jennifer and Jackson reached out to me in January looking for a playful suite using their color palettes. All of the flowers at their wedding are going to a blend of pink, red/burgundy and white anemones, and they wanted to incorporate that on their wedding suite. We were able to use her florals and color palette and mix it with a playful/modern mix of typography to create the perfect suite!
Jen and Jackson met in high school, but never dated. Jackson claims to have tried a couple of times, but Jen said he was “too cool” to talk to her, and denied him ever attempting. Five years went by and the couple reconnected at their high school reunion in Maine. Jackson saw Jennifer and knew he was going to take her on a date after that night. Well, they caught up at the reunion and went to a local diner for milkshakes after the reunion. They started dating within the week and have been inseparable ever since. Jennifer claims “it was like a movie, I fell hard and fast”, and Jackson agrees that the feelings were explosive and something he was ready to cherish forever. He proposed a short 10 months later while on vacation in Europe, and here we are!
We printed the invitations on 130# Starwhite Tiara cover matte cardstock and paired it with a burgundy laser cut gatefold. I really love how the gate fold added a little formal touch to the otherwise playful invitations. Unica Forma created their day of paper as well; from table numbers, to menus to escort cards, everything about their stationery ended up being very cohesive.
