3 Budget Friendly Ways to Elevate Your Custom Wedding Invitations

Last week we talked about 3 ways to cut costs on your wedding invitations without compromising the design. This week I’m going to share ways to take your invitations to the next level, without blowing the roof off your budget. All of these upgrades are budget friendly and are guaranteed to give the wow factor to your guests. Let’s get into it!

Duplexing

The most cost effective, and in my opinion, best upgrade you can make on your wedding invitations. This is something that often doesn’t even get discussed because our standard paper is 130#. Most custom stationers use 110# so I think our clients automatically assume 130# is enough. And it IS! It is nice, sturdy cardstock. However, duplexing it CHANGES the game! It makes the cards extremely thick and luxe. This upgrade is only about .90 a card and won’t go unnoticed, I promise!

Envelope Liners

Envelope Liners are not something that people can ignore. They are in your face, and have sooo many different options. We can do digitally printed liners, glitter liners, velvet envelope liners, foiled liners, really anything you can think of! We have used couple’s engagement photos for their envelope liner. Our company can do these on the outer, inner and RSVP envelopes. They really are a nice treat to add on that cost less than, let’s say, foiling, letterpress or another show stopping upgrade.  They are 1.50 a piece and come completely assembled with your suite.

Wax Seals

You won’t ever be able to convince me to send out mail without using a wax stamp. We have even had past clients say they were going to use it on their bills! Hahaha! We do not do any of the stamping on the invitation suites, and just send the custom stamp itself. These are $75.o0, but completely custom to you and your boo. We can make these as intricate, or simple as you want! We even put together a blog post to teach you the easiest ways to use the wax stamp at home!
